PSG announce signing of Spaniard Marco Asensio, ex-Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain announced this Thursday (6) the signing of Spanish attacking midfielder Marco Asensio, 27 years old, formerly of Real Madrid-ESP.
Asensio signed a three-year contract with the Parisian club and said he was excited about the new career opportunity. “It is a privilege to be part of this great club. I look forward to joining my teammates and working with them to achieve great goals.”said the Spaniard.
Revealed by Mallorca-ESP, Marco Asensio was signed by Real Madrid in 2015. After a loan to Espanyol-ESP, he returned to the merengue club, for which he won three editions of La Liga and three Champions League, in addition to four Club World Cups and three UEFA Supercups.
With the Spanish national team, the attacking midfielder played in the 2018 World Cups, in Russia, and 2022, in Qatar.
At PSG, Asensio will work again with Luis Enrique, former coach of Spain and who led the player in the last World Cup.
Also this Thursday, the Parisian club announced the signing of Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, formerly of Inter Milan-ITA.
Skriniar’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain is valid for five seasons.
