The main leaders of the PSDB in São Paulo have filed a single ticket for the party’s state convention, which will be held on February 25th.
The assembly of a ticket that unites representatives from different wings of the party that have been fighting in recent years is considered an important step in the pacification of the party, which has also tried to defuse conflicts at the national and municipal levels.
After the convention, a new state president must be defined. Former president of the state directory Marco Vinholi and former federal deputy Miguel Haddad are considered favorites.
Mayor of Santo André and ally of Governor Eduardo Leite (RS), Paulo Serra is the current president of the provisional commission that commands the state directory and also coordinates its implementation.
Other important PSDB leaders in the state make up the ticket, such as Duarte Nogueira, mayor of Ribeirão Preto, and José Aníbal, former senator.
