Regarding the rains that hit Amapá this Tuesday, 13th, state and municipal forces lined up to remedy the problems caused by flooding, Macapá.
GEA and PMM made their forces available to unblock blocked channels and drains that caused flooding in several parts of the city, even preventing the ‘A Banda’ block from taking place.
Senator Davi Alcolumbre, in an exclusive interview with Sistema Diário de Comunicação, highlighted the presence of Waldez Góes, head of the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development (MIDR), committed to containing the problems.
Davi also said that the alignment between state and municipal management was a “right decision”, and what really matters is “protecting people’s lives and property”.
The parliamentarian registered
that minister Waldez represents the federal government, and that “he is always available to the people of Amapá and the Brazilian people”.
Davi also took the opportunity to ask that what he called “politicization of the tragedy” be avoided. “Politics must be there to serve,” he concluded.
