Applications are open for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a program sponsored by the US Department of State to encourage new entrepreneurs.
Focused on commercial and social entrepreneurship, the program will take young people from Brazil and other American countries to the US for four weeks, where they will have workshops and meetings with local entrepreneurs. The courses and meetings will help entrepreneurs expand their knowledge, leadership skills and network.
To apply and compete for one of the vacancies, entrepreneurs need to live in Brazil, be between 25 and 35 years old, have a business or social enterprise with a history of growth in the last two years and be proficient in English.
The program will take place in 2024 and registration for one of the 20 vacancies available to Brazilians is open until February 15, via the program’s website.
