Professor Arlete Mendonça assumes ownership of Seduc-AM

As of this Tuesday (23), the Department of Education and School Sports of Amazonas (Seduc-AM) has Professor Arlete Mendonça as its new secretary, who until then held the position of deputy executive secretary for Pedagogy at Seduc.

Arlete takes over from Kuka Chaves, who has been in charge of the secretariat since August 2021 and who leaves the position for personal reasons. Kuka helped implement important advances in the Amazonas state education network.

The new head of Seduc has been a permanent employee of the Manaus Municipal Department of Education (Semed) for 23 years. Graduated in Higher Education from the State University of Amazonas (2008) with a degree in Pedagogy, she also has a specialization in Educational Management from the Federal University of Amazonas since 2010, with experience in both teaching and School Management.
