the judge John Lages, President of the Regional Electoral Court of Amapá (TRE-AP), determined the attachment of financial assets, through the system SISBAJUD, of the Workers’ Party (P.T), in the face of a debt of more than R$ 220 thousand.
The decision complied with a petition filed by the Attorney General’s Office (AGU), in which it requested compliance with the determination set forth in the Decision [ID 5040542], given the non-return of the amount of BRL 178,668.25 by the party within the established period. The party president was summoned through a Court Officer on March 6, 2023, thus being aware of the existence of the collection.
In the aforementioned petitions, the updated amount of the principal debt is found, as well as the corresponding amounts of fines and fees, with the updated amount due being R$ 221,982.57.
The process has to do with the party’s 2020 accountability, appearing with President José Nogueira de Sousa. The decision is published in the Electronic Justice Gazette of the Regional Electoral Court of Amapá, edition of May 24.
