President of the Alap Agriculture Commission participates in Agrishow in search of investments for Amapá – News of Brazil

the deputy Junior Favacho, President of the Agriculture and Supply Committee of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá, participated on Monday (1st) in the first day of the largest agricultural technology fair in Latin America, Agrishow, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
In 2023, the fair is in its 28th edition and will take place until next Friday (5). The agenda counts with the presence of two other parliamentary members of the commission, Lorran Barreto and Dayse Marques, and the president of the Association of Municipalities of Amapá (Ameap), mayor Carlos Sampaio.
The purpose of the trip, in addition to deepening knowledge of innovative methods for the development of agribusiness, also aims to present Amapá’s potential for the sector to national and international investors.
“Participating in an event like this has a very important symbolism. Amapá has been facing an alarming situation regarding unemployment, and I believe that the solution to overcome this problem is in the countryside. We need to unlock agro in our state, bring investments and enable the farmer to generate wealth. My role here is to show the potential of Amapá to the main players in the sector, and find solutions for the difficulties that we still face”explained Junior Favaco.
junior favacho stays in São Paulo until the last day of the Agrishow, which should receive around 190,000 visitors over the five days. Around 800 national and international brands participate in the event to present innovations in technology, connectivity, precision agriculture, inputs, energy generation, vehicles, tires, among other modalities.
“We are going to develop Amapá. As it is, it cannot continue. Amapá people want a job. Our state’s economy needs income generation. This is the commitment I made to the people of Amapa and it is our role to bring hope through concrete actions”concluded Favacho.
