Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort promotes a celebration of oysters throughout the month of September. A spatial menu prepared for the month comprises four starters, four main courses and three desserts, all made with oysters as the main ingredient.

The menu features dishes such as baby oyster ceviche, with tucupi and girl’s finger pepper, and blanquette of oysters with coconut milk, lemongrass, Paris mushrooms and yam puree. During the independence holiday, on the 7th of September – which, for Curitibanos, extends alongside the day of the patron saint of the city, the 8th of September – the hotel has a special program, of at least three days of accommodation. The program includes live music events, guided trails and oyster tasting.

The state of Santa Catarina, where the resort is located, concentrates 95% of the national supply of this seafood. To complete the oyster celebrations, Ponta dos Ganchos suggests a trip aboard a fishing boat, to enjoy the scenery of the Costa Smeralda, with a glass of sparkling wine.
