The man who invaded the lawn of Beira-Rio with a child on his lap to attack a Caxias player in the beating that followed the elimination of Inter, this Sunday (26), will be heard by the Police. Two inquiries were opened against him.
After the end of the match between Inter and Caxias, a fan invaded the field with a girl on his lap. He went up to an athlete from the visiting team and attacked him. Before being removed, he even attacked an RBS TV cameraman.
Father of the child, he will be heard at the 2nd Police Station for the Protection of Children and Adolescents this Monday afternoon (27) and will respond, initially, to article 232 of the Statute of Children and Adolescents, which talks about subjecting the child to humiliation and embarrassment. The penalty is six months to two years in prison.
It is still possible that he is also framed for exposing the child to danger. In this case, the penalty ranges from three months to one year in prison.
The child’s mother will also be heard to explain the circumstances of the invasion.
The Police will also carry out an examination of the girl’s bodily injury to verify whether, in addition to the psychological violence, there was any physical violence against her.
For the aggression against the cameraman, the Inter fan will be liable for minor bodily injury. Regarding the aggression against the Caixas player, the investigation depends on the victim’s registration of the incident.
The fan did not respond at the Fan Court last night as he left Beira-Rio during the confusion. He is not detained, but he was identified and summoned to appear for a statement.
WHO IS HE
The name of the fan is kept confidential so as not to expose the child, in compliance with the Child and Adolescent Statute. He lives in the city of Canoas, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, is a member of the club and a member of an organized fan base.
WHAT THE INTER SAYS
“International expresses its repudiation for the episodes that occurred after the end of this Sunday’s match (03/26). The Club informs that it is already working on identifying the invaders, and that the images from the Beira-Rio camera circuit will be made available to the authorities and used in future internal sanctions. Also, Colorado reinforces that it does not agree with the attitude taken by a minority of the fans present in the confrontation, valid for Gauchão “
