The presence at an event called by Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for next Sunday (25), in São Paulo, has been a reason for debate among the former president’s allies. Of 20 politicians close to Bolsonaro interviewed by Sheet last week, only 6 confirmed their presence. Half of those sought did not speak out.

The guest list, organized by pastor Silas Malafaia and lawyer Fabio Wajngarten, may change until the last minute. Even names already confirmed, such as the mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), are under pressure from supporters not to attend the event.

A Federal Police operation at the beginning of the month targeted the former president and the leadership of his government at the center of an alleged coup plot that had been organized to keep him in power.
