The mayor of Tartarugalzinho, Bruno Minerparticipated in the event that authorized the construction of a campus of the Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) in the municipality. The institute will supply demand throughout the Lakes Region and northern Amapá, which has strong fishing, mineral and agricultural potential.
This way, both Tartarugalzinho and neighboring municipalities will have a technical-university center, training young people to serve the region’s workforce. The agenda was a political construction by the senator Randolfe Rodrigues, government leader Lula in Congress.
“I’m very happy. For years, the population of Tartarugalzinho and the Lagos Region have felt the need for a center of this size to prepare young people who will no longer need to leave the city to pursue their dream of having a university degree.”commented the mayor Bruno Mineiro.
