PMDF commander, former commander and five other former members of the corporation’s leadership were denounced for alleged omission on 1/8
Brasilia DF) – The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) denounced and asked the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for preventive detention, this Thursday (16), of the commander-general of the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF), Colonel Klepter Rosa Gonçalves, former commander of the corporation, Colonel Fábio Augusto Vieira, and five other officers who were part of the PMDF leadership during the anti-democratic acts of January 8.
Deputy Attorney General of the Republic Carlos Frederico Santos accuses the officers of omission. In the understanding of the PGR, the seven police officers who were part of the PMDF leadership could have acted to prevent the invasion of the headquarters of the Three Powers.

If Moraes receives the complaint from the PGR, the police officers will become defendants for alleged omission and may be liable for the crimes of violent abolition of the democratic rule of law, coup d’état, qualified damage, deterioration of listed property and violation of the duties imposed on them by the law.
