PF investigates eight people responsible for leaking Enem questions in Brazil

The Federal Police (PF) is investigating those responsible for eight leaks of images from the question papers of the National High School Exam (Enem) 2023 during the tests on the first Sunday, on November 5th. The images were published on social networks.
According to the Ministry of Education (MEC), the PF held interviews with people who committed the irregularities in the cities of Caruaru (PE), Natal (RN), Cornélio Procópio (PR) and Brasília (DF). Investigations are still being carried out in Rio Grande do Sul and Ceará. In the same operation, the PF seized materials related to attempts to defraud the exam in Maceió (AL) and Vitória da Conquista (BA).
The images were detected during monitoring carried out by the MEC and the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). Companies responsible for social networks are helping to track posts.
According to the MEC, for the application of Enem, professionals from different areas are working in an integrated manner to monitor possible occurrences in the storage and distribution of test bags. The National Secretariat of Public Security (Senasp), an entity of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), integrates the responsible bodies.
The operation involves MEC, Inep, MJSP, PF, Federal Highway Police (PRF), Ministry of Defense (MD), Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company (ECT), Public Security secretariats, Military and Civil police, Fire Department, Defense Civil, Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), municipal guards, energy, water and telephone concessionaires and the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Promotion of Events (Cebraspe).
