Skin became an adjective and is officially eternalized in the Portuguese language. The Michaelis dictionary decided to include the name of the King of Football, who died on December 29, 2022, as an entry in its digital edition and will soon also insert the novelty in the next printed versions.

The change was announced during the Sports Summit, one of the main sports industry events being held in Pacaembu, where Pelé received one more of the numerous tributes.
The King of Football’s family was presented with a plaque containing the entry that praises the greatest player of all time as exceptional, incomparable and unique.
