Rubro-Negro does not intend to facilitate the departure of the striker

The mid-year transfer window is open, and clubs are moving around in the market in search of reinforcements. Owner of a powerful squad, Flamengo has players that arouse the interest of teams from abroad, as is the case of Pedro. The player entered Tottenham’s sights.

Despite the interest of the English club, there is no progress beyond consultation. Tottenham is watching the player in case Harry Kane leaves the team, and has only contacted the athlete’s representatives to find out how Flamengo’s number 9 is doing.

In addition to the English team, Pedro recently received a millionaire proposal from Al Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, but he turned it down. Flamengo’s number 9 shirt did not like the sports project presented, even though he was faced with a salary offer of about six times the amount of salaries received at Rubro-Negro.

Pedro recently renewed his contract with Flamengo, and signed a new contract until December 2027. The termination fine, which was 60 million euros (about R$ 300 million), was also readjusted, but the amounts were not disclosed. In the case of an official proposal, Rubro-Negro does not intend to facilitate the attacker’s departure.
