Manaus (AM) – Coach Paulo Henrique Marques is no longer ahead of Manaus FC. The decision was released this Thursday afternoon (23) through social networks. Paulo Henrique arrived in October 2022 to lead Gavião during the 2023 season. This was Paulo’s first experience away from football in Rio Grande do Sul.
Last season, he commanded São Luiz-RS in the Campeonato Gaúcho, São José-RS in Série C do Brasileiro and Novo Hamburgo-RS during the dispute for the Copa Gaúcha. In a note, the club manauara thanked for the services and highlighted the coach’s brief passage through Gavião.
”Manaus FC communicates that coach Paulo Henrique Marques is no longer in charge of the emerald team. In seven games for Gavião do Norte, there were three wins, three draws and one defeat. Manaus FC did not disclose the name of the next coach, but through social networks, fans raised well-known names such as Evaristo Piza and Luizinho Lopes as targets of the club that they would not like as coaches.
