“Pátio Run 8” race has record attendance, with 5 thousand athletes in Manaus

Manaus (AM) – The eighth edition of the “Pátio Run” street race was a success. The race held by Pátio Gourmet took place on Sunday morning (1st) and had a record audience for all editions, with five thousand athletes participating, including registered and popcorn (people who run without their kit).

According to Pátio Gourmet’s commercial manager, Yuri Oliveira, every year the race promoted by the brand grows and gains more fans. “Our goal is to promote well-being and encourage the practice of sports for health. Our aim was achieved”, he highlighted.

Yuri Oliveira highlights that the Pátio Gourmet team set up a large structure to welcome runners.

“It was a beautiful, lively, very well organized party, as the athletes deserve. And next year the public can expect much more”,

he stressed.

The “Pátio Run” was contested in four categories: general public, 5 km and 10 km; visually impaired; wheelchair user; and team. Juarez Rosa Silva, winner of the men’s 5 km, is a veteran of the “Pátio Run”. Of the eight editions, he was on the podium seven times.

“I’m very happy to have managed to come in first place. The Pátio race is one of my favorite races. This time, I opted for 5 km, because I have a training plan for races with longer distances, like a marathon, and it worked. I left with the trophy”,

In the women’s 10 km, the champion was Roselvys Del Valle, who is also a veteran of the Pátio Run. “I have already participated in the Pátio Gourmet race at least five times and it is always an immense joy. It’s already part of the exam calendar that I always participate in,” she said.

In the men’s 5 km category, the winners were Juarez Rosa Silva, Wenderson Auzier dos Santos and Wemerson Ribeiro Guimarães. In the women’s 5 km the winners were Franciane dos Santos Moura, Ciranilde Santos da Silva and Bianca Guedes.

In the men’s 10 km, Leandro Silva Costa, Luis Brito and Wilbert Pereira de Souza took the podium. In the women’s 10 km the winners were Roselvys Del Valle Moreno Rojas, Márcia da Silva Magalhães and Márcia Monteiro Rodrigues Cavalheiro.

In the category of visually impaired athletes, Williams Paes Seixas, Antônio de Oliveira Honório and Pablo Kauan Nogueira Ramos won. In the test for male wheelchair users, the winners were Denilson de Oliveira Barbosa, Franciomar Bastos Franco and Kauã Barbosa de Souza. In the women’s category, the podium was made up of Marleide Sales da Silva, Cristina Gonçalves Maximiano and Raiane Vitória Nascimento Rabelo.

The winners up to third place in the general men’s and women’s 5 km and 10 km categories received a Pátio Gourmet gift card, worth R$1,000, R$800 and R$500, respectively. In the visually impaired and wheelchair-using male and female categories, the prizes for the top three placed were R$500, R$300 and R$200. The teams with the three best results won R$3,000, R$2,000 and R$1,000.
