Participant gives up on joining BBB 24 during pre-confinement: ‘I didn’t know how to control my feelings’

With just a few hours to go before the premiere of BBB24, dentist Rebeca Mota used social media to state that she had given up on the program pre-confinement. She posted a sequence of photos at Galeão International Airport and explained her supposed motivations.

“Coming home…After giving up on the biggest dream of my life. Participating in BBB has always been my biggest dream and, in fact, I managed to get as far as possible. I’m just coming back from confinement”, he began.

Rebeca claims to have had difficulty managing her own feelings. “I always thought giving up was a sign of weakness, but I had to be really strong to knock on that door and say I had given up on my dream,” she wrote.

The dentist said that she will soon speak out about the experience and thanked the BBB24 team: “The only thing I wanted to say is… I really admire BBB. I received all the love in the world, even when I gave up, from the entire team. I’m a fan and always will be.”

Metrópoles contacted TV Globo to confirm the selection and withdrawal of Rebeca Mota, but did not receive a response until the closing of this report.

Puxadinho

If Rebeca’s report is true, the young woman would be part of the “puxadinho”, a group of 14 participants — seven men and seven women — who will participate in a popular vote to guarantee a place on the reality show.

They will be presented to the public on Sunday (7). After that, viewers will choose two of these 14 people to join the brothers already announced on Monday, the premiere of BBB24.

On the same day, the cast already chosen will be able to add three more men and three women from those left from the public’s choice, in a special, live dynamic. In total, the current edition of Big Brother Brasil has 26 participants in this edition.
