Resource will provide free training in the area of technology and entrepreneurship for young people from the outskirts of Manaus
Manuas (AM) – Parliamentary Amendment by deputy Adjuto Afonso (União Brasil), aimed at the Young Entrepreneur Project, will provide free professional training in the area of technology and entrepreneurship for young people from the outskirts of Manaus, with the possibility of accessing credit for financing through the Development Agency of the Amazonas (Afeam).
The project initiative is from the Amazonas Educational Technological Institute (Iteam), which entered into a partnership with the State Parliamentary Front to Support Micro and Small Businesses and Individual Entrepreneurs (Frempeei), chaired by the parliamentarian. The launch took place at the beginning of December and activities will begin on January 22, 2024.
“We have been seeking partnership and encouragement for entrepreneurs who need an opportunity and support. Since the beginning of my mandate, we have sought to encourage the segment and I know that Parliamentary Amendments directed towards solid institutes such as Iteam, lead people to understand that the project is serious and will produce results, hence my joy in seeing so many young people present at the launch. I hope that everyone can undertake, our team will be together, monitoring and assisting in whatever is necessary”,
declares Deputy Deputy Afonso.
The Young Entrepreneur Project is aimed at low-income young people aged 17 to 30, who will receive training in free training courses in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Technological Innovation, Legislation, Sustainability, Software and Mobile Programming and Startup Creation, at the end of the work trained and structured, they can be financed by investors and credit agencies.
“The project is a great opportunity for us to learn how to undertake, I am already self-employed with personalized stationery and I know that the course will help me boost my business, as well as helping me discover my personal potential”,
declares student Brenda Matos, enrolled in the project.
One of the objectives of the project is to have entrepreneurship as a basis in education, and that only through knowledge and learning will the culture of entrepreneurship become a reality.
“This project is fabulous and unique. In France, the subject entrepreneurship is mandatory in all higher education courses, and in Brazil many businesses start without the slightest knowledge about what entrepreneurship is. The course lasts 268 hours, in which all concepts will be covered, from how to raise funds to legal issues, making it a very rich opportunity. Congratulations to everyone on your choice,”
declared Kleber Mantovanelli, president of Iteam.
At the launch, the executive secretary of labor and entrepreneurship of Amazonas, Paulo Gilson, was also present; Afeam presidential advisor, Kirk Douglas; and Sebrae Manager, Amina Berbosa, all partners in the Entrepreneurial Project and who will provide educational, structural and credit support.
Classes will start on January 22, 2024, with one class at the Legislative School, located in Aleam, and the other at the Technical Courses in Manaus (Centec).
