Regarding expectations for the Lula government, 29% believe that the president is doing better than they expected

A new survey by Paraná Pesquisas shows the assessment of Brazilians regarding President Lula da Silva’s administration: 54.1% approve of the PT’s Government III and 39.4% disapprove.

Among those interviewed, 15.8% rated Lula’s administration as excellent, 23.9% as good, 24.9% as fair, 7% as poor and 25.7% as terrible.

Regarding expectations for the Lula government, 29% believe that the president is doing better than they expected, 38% the same and 27.6% worse.

When asked about the economic situation after Lula’s inauguration, 26.8% believe that there have been improvements, 45.4% have not noticed changes and 25.8% believe that it has worsened.

The survey was carried out with 2,023 voters, through face-to-face interviews, in 26 states and the Federal District, between the 16th and 21st of May. The survey reaches a confidence level of 95.0% for an estimated margin of error of 2.2 percentage points for the overall results.
