Paraná Pesquisas publishes the 1st electoral survey for the Mayor of Salvador

Paraná Pesquisas released this Thursday (23) the first survey for the 2024 municipal elections in Salvador. One of the polled scenarios showed the current mayoral candidate for re-election Bruno Reis (União Brasil) with 38.1% of the voting intentions , against 10.2% of federal deputy Lídice da Mata (PSB).
The parliamentarian is also in second place in the scenario that includes former mayor Antônio Carlos Magalhães Neto (União Brasil), who ran for governor of the state in 2022. Lídice has only 7.1% of the votes against 60% of ACM Neto.
The survey also showed that 68% of respondents approve of the administration of the current mayor, against 26.1% who disapprove. The survey was conducted between March 17th and 21st and the margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.

Scenario 1, with the current mayor Bruno Reis:
- Bruno Reis (União Brasil): 38.1%;
- Lidice da Mata (PSB): 10.2%;
- João Roma (PL): 7%;
- Olivia Santana (PCB): 6.6%;
- Geraldo Jr. (MDB): 4.5%;
- João Carlos Bacelar (PV): 3.1%;
- Antônio Brito (PSD): 2.6%;
- João Henrique Carneiro (PDT): 2.5%;
- Guilherme Bellintani (without party): 2.2%;
- Maria Marighella (PT): 1.9%;
- Zé Trindade (PSB): 0.7%;
- None/blank/null: 15.9%;
- Does not know/did not answer: 4.7%.
Scenario 2, with ACM Neto:
- ACM Neto (União Brasil): 60%;
- Lidice da Mata (PSB): 7.1%;
- João Roma (PL): 5.7%;
- Olivia Santana (PCB): 5.3%;
- Geraldo Jr. (MDB): 3%;
- João Henrique Carneiro (PDT): 1.7%;
- Antônio Brito (PSD): 1.6%;
- João Carlos Bacelar (PV): 1.4%;
- Guilherme Bellintani (without party): 1.4%;
- Maria Marighella (PT): 1%;
- Zé Trindade (PSB): 0.2%;
- None/blank/null: 7.8%;
- Does not know/did not answer: 3.7%.
Methodology
Paraná Pesquisas interviewed 804 voters in the municipality of Salvador, in person, between March 17 and 21, 2023. The margin of error is 3.5 percentage points, and the confidence interval is 95%. The survey is not registered with the TRE-BA (Regional Electoral Court of Bahia). Electoral law requires registration only for polls published in the election year.
