Paraná Pesquisas publishes 1st electoral survey for Manaus City Hall

On Wednesday (10), Paraná Pesquisas published the first survey for the 2024 municipal elections in Manaus. federal deputy Amom Mandel (Citizenship), if the election took place now.

The possible candidates for the PL, Coronel Menezes and Captain Alberto Neto, presented in each of the two scenarios, appear in the third position of preference of the electorate in the capital of Amazonas.

The survey also showed that 67.3% of Manaus approve of David Almeida’s tenure at City Hall. The survey was conducted between May 4th and 8th and the margin of error is 3.7 percentage points.

• Ammon Mandel (Citizenship): 21.3%;
• Coronel Menezes (PL): 14.2%;
• Ricardo Nicolau (Solidarity): 7.5%;

• None/blank/null: 8.2%;
• Does not know/did not answer: 4.5%.

• Captain Alberto Neto (PL): 9.3%;
• Ricardo Nicolau (Solidarity): 7.6%;
• Zé Ricardo (PT): 6.2%;
• Carol Braz (PDT): 3.8%;
• Roberto Cidade (União Brasil): 3.1%;
• None/blank/null: 9%;
• Does not know/did not answer: 4.8%.

Methodology

Paraná Pesquisas interviewed 710 voters in the municipality of Manaus, between May 4 and 8, 2023. The margin of error is 3.7 percentage points, and the confidence interval is 95%. The survey is not registered with the TRE-AM (Amazonas Regional Electoral Court). Electoral law requires registration only for polls published in the election year.
