This Friday morning (12) the Government of Amapá and the Federal Government signed a pact to fight poverty in Amapá and encourage work. The measure seeks the implementation of programs, projects and actions that accelerate the socioeconomic inclusion of people enrolled in the Cadastro Único (CadUnique) in the business market.

“We already have resources in account for the municipalities of the state, in the amount of R$ 17 million, aimed at the social and assistance sector. We also have R$ 10 million for the Food Acquisition Program and other strategies. By 2026, we want an Amapá without hunger, with more socioeconomic inclusion through entrepreneurship and other forms of work”he spoke wellington Days, Minister of Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger.

One of the federal government’s proposals is to ‘exchange’ the Bolsa Família card for the work card, and for that it will offer qualification to those assisted by the CadÚnico through partnerships. In this way, these people no longer just receive aid and help to generate income in the states through the workforce.

“Who is hungry, is in a hurry. In Amapá, we have 57% of the population in CadÚnico, a good part in poverty, low income and extreme poverty. We have to combat this immediately, hence the importance of Senai, Sesi, Sebrae; so that we can migrate from assistance to entrepreneurship and socioeconomic inclusion”reinforced the governor of Amapá, Clecio Louis.

Leader of the Lula government, senator randolf reinforced that the Amapá bench is attentive to the needs and situation of the people who are currently enrolled in the CadÚnico.

“The Lula government wants to get people out of hunger again, that is our task. But it is not limited to welfare, that is why we have several measures in place to ensure that we are no longer on the hunger map and that the population is qualified to work. In Amapá alone, more than 100,000 people live in a situation of food insecurity”remembered.

The secretary of Inclusion and Social Mobilization of Amapá, Aline Gurgel, points out that the measures based on the pact will bring benefits in the short and long term.

“We are going to train, qualify and direct our users to the job market and to the business itself. And we will also have immediate aid, such as food baskets, vouchers and other government social benefits, linked to the federal government “finished Aline Gurgel.
