One of the main organizers of the return of New Year’s Eve in Beira Rio, in Amapá, the senator Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP) said that New Year’s Eve 2024, on Orla de Macapá, will not only be important for providing joy and entertainment to the people of Amapá, but also for boosting tourism, job creation and the regional economy.
“It is with great pride that we announce the return of the New Year celebration in Beira Rio, because we know the importance of an event of this magnitude, both for the population and the state’s economy, boosting tourism and job creation”he highlighted.
The announcement of the return of the end of year party was given this Friday, 1, by the governor Clécio Luís.
There will be three days of Beira Rio 2024 New Year’s Eve – from December 30th to January 1st -, on the banks of the Amazon River. The cultural and festive program will feature over 50 local artists and promotions for all municipalities.
“It is important to reinforce the combined efforts of the government and Senator Davi Alcolumbre in this coordination with the federal government and the private sector, because it shows the commitment to promoting tourism in the region and putting Amapá in dialogue with the country’s major events. Thus, we have the possibility of promoting local commerce, generating income and employment, confirming Governor Clécio’s commitment to the development of our state”, highlighted the secretary of tourism, Anne Monte.
Another new feature will be the shows in Fazendinha and in the north of Macapá. “There will be three days of celebration on New Year’s Eve, a moment that, in addition to the festive celebration, is one of job and income generation, with completely free and safe shows, just as it was at Expofeira. We want it to be an unforgettable New Year’s Eve for the population”emphasized Governor Clécio.
In addition to local articulations, Davi was one of the main responsible for the resources guaranteed, via the Ministry of Tourism and the private sector, for the celebration.
“The return of New Year’s Eve in Beira Rio is the establishment of a new brand for Amapá. We are talking about entertainment, more jobs, more tourism for the region and more money being injected into our state”said the senator.
All samba schools in Amapá must also participate, on December 31st, in the party and, on all three days of cultural activity, on all stages, there will be local artists taking part in the return of New Year’s Eve in Beira Rio.
“A true party bringing a lot of joy, as all the people of Amapá deserve”, emphasized Senator Davi.
