Current mayor of São Paulo, emedebist Ricardo Nunes minimized the possible entry of federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (União Brasil-SP) in the dispute for the mayor of the capital in 2024 and assured that he should have the support of the parliamentarian’s party in the municipal election.
According to Nunes, it is “normal for people to file a claim, but that [a decisão] takes place within the scope of the parties.”
“União Brasil should be with me. President Milton Leite has already declared [isso] publicly. Even in the party’s inserts during election time, they have me showing the joint work in the city”, he told the Panel.
As the column showed, leaders of the MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre), from Kataguiri, and Bolsonaristas from São Paulo who reject Nunes began talking about the possibility of joining forces against the mayor in 2024.
