Inauguration date is set for August 3
The appointment of Cristiano Zanin as Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) was published in the Official Gazette of this Wednesday (5). After being nominated by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, his name was approved by the Federal Senate on June 21st.
Shortly after his name was approved, the new minister met with the President of the STF, Minister Rosa Weber, with whom he set the date on which he will take office at the Court on August 3, in the first week after the recess, which takes place in period from the 2nd to the 31st of July.
