Noisy scholarship holders will compete for seats in the SP Chamber – 04/07/2024 – Panel

The election for the São Paulo City Council should feature a bloc of candidates from the so-called new right.
The noisy Bolsonarists Adrilles Jorge (former Jovem Pan), Douglas Garcia (former state deputy) and Paulo Kogos (influencer) joined União Brasil for this purpose, as well as doctor Nise Yamaguchi.
The four have starred in controversial episodes in recent years.
The first was fired by Jovem Pan after making a gesture considered Nazi and becoming the target of a complaint from the Public Ministry, rejected by the Court. The second was ordered to compensate critics of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) who he included in an “anti-fascist dossier”, in addition to verbally attacking journalist Vera Magalhães.
The third is a frequent protagonist of memes on social media and held denialist, anti-vaccine protests during the pandemic, and the fourth was among the main defenders of ineffective medicines against Covid-19.
From the new right branch, former state deputy Janaina Paschoal (PP) and former Jovem Pan commentator Zoe Martinez, PL’s bet as a vote-puller in the municipal legislature, will also compete. Born in Cuba, she became a naturalized Brazilian in 2018 to, according to her, vote for Bolsonaro.
