Released this Monday (8), the documentary produced by federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) reached 7 million views on his social networks in less than 24 hours.
To date, the first episode of a series of videos has 6.5 million views on Instagram (6.5 million), 592.7 thousand on twitter) and 183.9 thousand on YouTube. In addition, the episode titled “Clezão, a selected enemy” already has over 1,100 shares on Facebook.
“Partiality in prisons, excesses, disproportionality of sentences, omission of the federal government and, finally, death sentence. A domino effect of intentional errors that sentenced hundreds of families to non-existence”, says the deputy at the beginning of the video.
The first episode deals with the story of businessman Cleriston Pereira, victim of a sudden illness in Papuda, on November 20, 2023, after having several medical alerts ignored by the rapporteur of the 8/1 actions, the minister of the Federal Supreme Court ( STF), Alexandre de Moraes.
The businessman’s defense was trying to request provisional release based on medical reports that warned of the risk of sudden death if Cleriston did not resume appropriate treatment outside of prison.
In the requests for release, the defense also alleged abuses committed during the businessman’s arrest and during the prosecution process.
Due to comorbidities, Cleriston even received a favorable opinion from the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) for Papuda’s departure.
Furthermore, among the arguments presented by the businessman’s defense to prove his innocence is the fact that Clezão, as the businessman was known, was working in the family’s grocery store until 4 pm on January 8, 2023.
“My question is: Was Clezão really a vandal, a scammer, a terrorist, as the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, accused until then?”, asks Nikolas.
“Human rights we haven’t seen or even really heard. Any clarification of what really happened? Will anyone be held responsible for the death of a family man?”, says the deputy in another excerpt.
