The new superintendent of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) in Amapá, Samuel Lima Sales Junior, said this morning, on the LuizMeloEntrevista program (Diário FM 90.9), that among his priorities at the agency is an effort to rescue the degraded areas of the state with the purpose of increasing agricultural production.
After pointing out that in his tenure as the Superintendence of Mapa, he will also make an effort to increase the production of soy and other grains, which had an abrupt drop, and will also encourage family farming, which, incidentally, he said, “It is a directive from the federal government”.
To manage the Map in the state of Amapá, superintendent Samuel Lima Sales Junior has 57 permanent employees and some hired employees. In the radio interview, he revealed that when he arrived at the agency, last Friday, he found a team that was very willing and dedicated to their work.
