Nestlé launches coffee subscription club with classes – 10/03/2023 – Café na Prensa

Nestlé launched this Tuesday (3) a special coffee subscription club curated by São Paulo roaster Wolff.
The project, called NOMAD, has a fixed duration of six months and the coffees will be sent to the consumer’s home, monthly, in 12 individual portions accompanied by a small coffee course.
Each month will have a thematic chapter, with topics including terroir, post-harvest, roasting and grinding, among others.
The video classes made available to subscribers will be taught by barista Gi Coutinho.
Wolff Café was responsible for selecting and roasting the lots from various producing regions in Brazil.
The initiative is part of Nestlé’s growing foray into the gourmet coffee market. The food giant recently launched products under the Nescafé brand that are made to strain – and are not soluble, as Nescafé was originally.
Among them is the Nescafé Origens line, with special beans from different producing regions in Brazil.
How the Coffee in the Press showed, the gourmet coffee market in Brazil is growing at a much faster pace than the traditional one.
The NOMAD package costs R$600 (total price for six months) and is available for pre-sale only to residents of São Paulo on the website www.nomadpornescafe.com.br.
