Naiara Azevedo denounces her ex-husband for domestic violence

The singer discovered a million-dollar life insurance policy in her name where her ex-husband would be the sole beneficiary

Singer Naiara Azevedo filed a domestic violence report against her ex-husband this Thursday (30). The singer and businessman Rafael Alves Cabral were in a relationship for 10 years and separated at the beginning of 2021.

The artist requested an emergency protective measure from her ex-husband, Rafael, and her brother, Fernando Alves Cabral, after discovering life insurance taken out in her name. The two continue working with the artist even after her divorce from Rafael.

One of the agents who works at the police station told Portal Léo Dias “off the record” that the singer went to the police department for a vote at 1am. “Naiara was here at the Flagrantes Center and we sent her to Deam, which is here for domestic violence”, he informed.

The singer’s press office confirmed that Naiara was at the police station. “However, he doesn’t have a boyfriend. And the case in question is under judicial secrecy”, states the note.

In a statement to the authorities, the artist declared a great fear regarding her physical integrity, due to the fact that her ex-husband had taken out a million-dollar life insurance policy in her name, with him as the sole beneficiary. She fears for her life because if something happens, Rafael would be the only one to receive the insurance amount.

As stated to the police, after the end of the relationship Naiara and Rafael continued as partners since the divorce, the singer has tried to divide her assets, but so far, no sharing has been carried out.
