The music that involves, interacts and encourages young listeners was taken to the gardens of the Centro Cultural Palácio Rio Negro, Avenida Sete de Setembro, Centro, this Saturday (08), as part of the program of the Encontro das Águas Series. A morning dedicated to musicalizing children, strengthening the emotional bond with parents and the collective.

The meeting between music and children from 0 to 3 years old, entitled “Musical Garden”, used colorful carpets, interactive elements, a mini orchestra and feet on the ground. In partnership with the music school, Centro Suzuki do Amazonas, the initiative will be repeated on Sunday (09), at 11 am, at the same location, with free admission.

The Musical Garden, conceived by maestro Marcelo de Jesus, bets on the diversity of audiences, defended in this edition of the Encontro das Águas Series.

“We have musicalization, a small orchestra, where they can play with the instruments, do body games and associate this with music. So, I consider it very important to have this first contact, and nothing better than in the garden of Palácio Rio Negro”,

scores the conductor.

The violinist from the Amazonas Philharmonic, Bárbara Soares, who was part of the children’s concert, defends the theory that “music comes before speech”, therefore, events with the purpose of the Encontro das Águas Series, collaborate in the formation of a naturally musical audience.

“It is an opportunity for children to improve and develop themselves, whether in motor skills or cognitive skills through music”,

said Bárbara, who is also a teacher at the Suzuki Center.

Pharmacist Fernanda Hossokawa also recognizes the importance of inserting music, from the first months of her son Arthur’s life, now 5 years old. “In addition to sociability, the child learns that, from challenge to challenge, it is possible to achieve something greater. With musicalization this is possible”, reveals Fernanda.

In the new audience, curious and enchanted looks, like Maria Fernanda’s. At just 1 year and 7 months old, she participated, for the first time, in a concert for babies and, according to her father Hugo Rodrigues, the experience was approved.

“She was delighted with the instruments and is even interacting a little because she wants to see, touch the instruments and discover the sounds. In addition, we are in contact with nature, which we also value a lot. We will definitely participate more often”,

said Hugo, accompanied by his wife Beatriz and the youngest Ana Clara, who is only three months old.
