Mr Olympia 2023: Francielle and Cbum win, Ramon is runner-up – 11/04/2023 – Sport

Acri’s Ramon Dino, one of Brazil’s main expectations at Mr Olympia 2023, was runner-up in the Classic Physique category. In the Wellness division, Francielle Mattos from Paraná won for the third time in a row and maintained her reign. The competition, considered the bodybuilding world cup, started on Thursday (2) and runs until this Sunday (5), in Orlando, Florida, United States.

Ramon brought evolution to his stage posture and stood out with his well-developed biceps and abdomen. Even so, Canadian Chris Bumstead “Cbum” showed better quadriceps and lats, becoming the five-time champion of the category. Francielle stood out mainly for her symmetry, muscle division and posture when posing on stage. This set once again established her as synonymous with what is expected of an athlete in the Wellness category.

Other Brazilians dominated the tournament. Also competing for Wellness, Isabelle Nunes received the silver medal, Rayane Fogal came in fourth place and Giselle Machado in fifth. In the Women’s Physique division, Natalia Coelho —a Brazilian competing for the United States— was runner-up and newcomer Zama Benta won the bronze medal. Also on the podium in third place was athlete Alcione Barreto, from Ms. Olympia, the women’s division classified as the most difficult in the championship. In Bikini, the entry category of the competition, Elisa Pecini came in fifth place.

Among male athletes, athlete Josué Fabiano came third in the Wheelchair division; Fabricio Moreira and Felipe Moraes reached ninth and tenth positions respectively in the 212 category; and Diogo Montenegro reached fifth place in Men’s Physique.
