The north coast of São Paulo was one of the regions with the greatest increase in toll handling across the country, according to a survey by Veloe, a payment company for the transport sector.
The jump was 63% in the flow from Friday (17) to Wednesday (22) compared to the previous week.
A similar advance was only recorded in the tollbooths of the Lagos Region, in Rio de Janeiro.
At Carnival last year, still amid the pandemic, the increase in movement on the north coast was 20%, according to the company.
