Senator Sergio Moro (União-PR), former judge responsible for Lava Jato, says he hopes that the new revelations in the Marielle Franco case, based on a plea bargain, will make the Lula government “bite its tongue” about this instrument.
This Monday (24), the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, revealed that former military police officer Élcio de Queiroz signed a plea agreement, in which he gives details about the murder of Marielle, in 2018, by militiaman Ronnie Lessa.
“The award-winning collaboration, despite being demonized by the PT, revealed the thefts at Petrobras during the Lula government, and is now invoked by the PT to confirm what we already knew, that Lessa is the suspect in Marielle’s murder.
The PT and the Lula government are declared opponents of the accusations, which were the main instrument of the Lava Jato investigations.
