Moro defends Deltan in March for Jesus: “he took a risk for the good”

Senator Sergio Moro (União-PR) and former Lava Jato prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR) participated this Saturday morning (20) in the March for Jesus, in Curitiba. Moro spoke and showed solidarity with Dallagnol, who had his mandate revoked this week by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

“I think this country is going through a phase of hatred in the heart and mind. I ask for prayers so that we can ward off these bad feelings,” said Moro. “Deltan is one of the most honorable people I know who risked himself for the good of Brazil. This man suffered a gigantic injustice that I attribute to this feeling of hatred and resentment, which separates us from God and Jesus. We need Justice on Earth to Deltan.”

Then, the deputy mayor of Curitiba, Eduardo Pimentel (PSD) also showed his support for the former federal deputy: “I defend our values. The preservation of innocence for children. I also reinforce my solidarity with my friend Deltan.”

“Jesus said that a divided house does not prevail and, therefore, we gathered all the evangelical churches”, says Felipe Ferro, bishop of Sara Nossa Terra in the city and one of the organizers of the event. “We believe that, based on unity, we can bless everyone.”

With the start scheduled for 10:00 am, the participants began gathering an hour earlier, at Praça Santos Andrade, where Moro, Pimentel and João Carlos Ortega, head of the Civil House of Paraná, spoke. At 9:50 am, the participants started the walk towards the Civic Center. The theme of this year’s meeting was “He So Loved the World.”

According to the organization, the expectation is that the event has moved about 100 thousand people.

“I’m here because I’m a Christian and I defend freedom of expression and worship. These freedoms are being diminished, even in homeopathic doses”, says Celso de Sousa, a reserve officer in the Brazilian Army and one of those present at the Marcha para Jesus.
