The Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes prohibited the former assistant Mauro Cid from communicating with the former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The decision was given within the scope of the investigation that investigates the sale of jewelry received by the Bolsonaro government from foreign authorities. In addition to the former president, the military will not be able to maintain any type of communication with former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro and with targets of the investigation, reported the portal g1.
In the decision, signed on Wednesday (23), Moraes pointed out that the analysis of the data stored in Cid’s seized cell phone “revealed evidence that there was a diversion of goods of high patrimonial value delivered by foreign authorities to the former President of the Republic or public agents at their service, and subsequent concealment of the origin, location and ownership of the proceeds, revealing new facts and agents involved”.
The magistrate argued that, in this case, “incommunicability between the investigated targets of the measures is absolutely necessary” for the continuity of the investigations. Mauro Cid was arrested in May in Operation Venire, which investigates the insertion of false data on vaccination against Covid-19 in the Ministry of Health systems.
On the afternoon of this Friday (25th), on another investigation front, he testified to the Federal Police in the inquiry that investigates the actions of hacker Walter Delgatti against justice systems. During his testimony to the CPMI on the acts of January 8, the hacker stated that he had met with Bolsonaro. The soldier arrived at the PF headquarters around 2 pm and left after 8 pm.
A People’s Gazette contacted the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro requesting a position on Moraes’ decision, but until the publication of this content there was no response.
