After being fined BRL 300,000 by Minister Alexandre de Moraes and having all online dissemination channels blocked – including Amazon Music, the last platform to respond to this request – influencer Bruno Monteiro Aiub, Monark, traveled to the United States to try to reactivate your Rumble account.
Initially, the trip was seen by users of social networks as “self-exile”, but the presenter informed Gazeta do Povo that he has no intention of fleeing the country and that he will return to Brazil “in two weeks” for a conciliation hearing that he will have with the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, in early September.

According to lawyer Jorge Salomão, who defends Monark in this and other lawsuits involving the youtuber, the minister filed a criminal complaint against Bruno for “offense to honor” during a program broadcast in May this year on the Rumble platform.
At the time, Monark would have referred to Dino with words like “gordola”, and the minister expressed himself on Twitter regarding the case. “As for the criminals who offend my honor, I trust the Judiciary, to whom I hand over such cases”, wrote on your networks.
After posting, Flávio Dino forwarded a criminal complaint, which will be validated, or not, during a conciliation hearing scheduled for September 1st. “The objective is to try to conciliate the parties, and the judge will also verify that the complaint meets all the requirements to then open the process”, explains the criminal lawyer.
According to him, an irregularity in the complaint that will be discussed during the hearing is the sphere of justice in which it was triggered, since Dino filed the case in the Federal Court of São Paulo instead of the State Court.
“He was once a federal servant when he acted as a judge, but today he is a political agent in the transitory position of minister”, explained the jurist. Therefore, “there is no violation of Union assets or Union interests, as Flávio Dino no longer acts as a federal public servant”, he continued, informing that there is a tenuous difference between the functions described and that the decision to open the process will depend on the judge.
Other processes in progress
Meanwhile, Monark’s defense awaits Alexandre de Moraes to evaluate the appeal regarding the R$ 300,000 fine he received. The request was sent last week and requests that the decision be annulled or that the case be judged in plenary at the Federal Supreme Court (STF). “But as we are facing an exceptional court, in which the figure of the victim, the judge and the prosecution are mixed, we know that it may take a while”, explains Salomão, who has already spoken about the case in an article in Gazeta do Povo, comparing recent decisions by Moraes to the reality of totalitarian countries.
According to him, Monark was “silent and completely banned from digital channels for expressing his thoughts freely in a democracy and criticizing constitutional powers”, he quoted, when referring to the boy’s speeches in relation to the STF and the questions he asked about security. of electronic voting machines in the 2022 elections.
In addition, for the lawyer, Monark was chosen, due to the repercussions of his lines, to be placed within the police inquiry that investigates the actions of January 8, 2023, without even being present at the facts, in Brasilia. “This is authoritarianism. There is no other word to describe it.”
