Monark creates new profiles to circumvent censorship and announces return of podcast

Banned from social media in Brazil by order of the president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, digital influencer Bruno Monteiro Aiub, known as Monark, announced the resumption of his podcast, the “Monark Talks”on newly created profiles.

This Thursday (23), the influencer shared the news on the social network: “A new journey begins tomorrow! Monark is back!”, says the publication.

The influencer moved to the United States at the end of September this year after becoming the target of Moraes for criticizing the polls and last year’s electoral process, and of the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, for calling him “fat ”.

Upon confirming the move to the US in September, Monark told People’s Gazette that “Brazil has become a dictatorship of the Judiciary” and that he feared for his life because he was “politically persecuted”.

Wanted by People’s Gazette This Friday (24), Monark acknowledged that he still runs the risk of having his profiles blocked again, but said he will continue to open new accounts in protest against censorship.

Due to the difficulty of getting interviewees in the USA, Monark said that, initially, the idea is to focus on “Monark News”, a part of the podcast in which he comments on news about Brazil. The painting will even be highlighted in the relaunch of the podcast, this Friday (24).

“But I want to bring people too (from Brazil). Once I launch the podcast it will be easier to bring people in […] I’m starting a new journey and as this time I’m not at risk of being arrested, I’m going to talk more than ever”, Monark told Gazeta.
