Minister Waldez asks for pressure in favor of lowering interest rates in the country – News of Brazil

In an exclusive interview with Daily Communication Systemon the morning of this Tuesday, 20, the minister of integration and regional development, Waldez Goes, showed that until now the president Lula is governing based on the Transition PEC, and that the Participatory Pluriannual Plan (PPA) is important because it will give the manager conditions to make decisions about the priorities of each state, by region of the country.

waldez informed that the PPA is being exemplarily coordinated by the ministers Simone Tebet, planning and budgeting, and Márcio Macedo, of the Government Secretariat. There have already been plenary sessions in the Northeast and Midwest; in the North, only the state of Rondônia remains to be covered; and next week there will be meetings in the South and Southeast.

the minister waldez Goes clarified that the priorities of the Pluriannual Participatory Plan plenary sessions will be part of the new government plan that the president Lula will launch in July, but the deadlines for submitting the PPA will run until the end of August.

The head of integration and regional development in Brazil recalled that the Multi-Year Participatory Plan has not been implemented for seven years, since the impeachment of then-President Dilma Rousseff. “We notice in the Amazon that the Indians, black people, people from the countryside and the cities see the PPA as a great opportunity to participate”highlighted the minister.

Waldez Goes he also informed that each minister will receive the proposals more focused on their respective portfolios, and added: “All that remains is to lower interest rates. This needs to be increasingly pressured for Brazil to grow again”.
