At a PL Mulher event in Ceará, in Fortaleza, this Saturday (30), former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro criticized the trial of the “cursed” ADPF 442, which attempts to decriminalize abortion up to the 12th week of pregnancy, in the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

According to Michelle, former minister Rosa Weber – who retires this Saturday – left a “legacy of death and bloody hands” when she voted in favor of abortion.

“A legacy of death that the former judge left for our Brazil, but we will continue to fight against her”, said Michelle.

During the event, she mentioned the formation of a baby in the mother’s womb and showed a doll symbolizing a 12-week-old baby. “The former judge was trying to murder this 12-week-old baby. No to abortion, yes to life,” she declared.

The trial of ADPF 442, presented by PSOL in 2017, was resumed on the 22nd in a virtual plenary session. Minister Rosa Weber voted in favor of the action, but the trial was suspended after minister Luis Roberto Barroso requested a review and transfer to the physical plenary.
