The percentage adjusted this Wednesday had already been awaited by education entities since the end of 2023, when the MEC and the Ministry of Finance published the adjustment of the Fundeb Year Student Value (VAAF). This is because the calculation of the floor update is based on the percentage difference between the VAAF and the previous two.
