The municipalities are tasked with listing, by Wednesday the 25th at the latest, the needs they have had as a result of the strong drought that is raging in the state, mainly in the Lakes Region, to be delivered to some ministries already committed to helping the Amapá units.
The ministerial commitment was formalized on the morning of this Monday, 23rd, during a meeting of mayors of Amapá in the office of the holder of the regional integration and development portfolio, Waldez Góes, with the presence of Marina Silva (environment) and Paulo Teixeira (agrarian development and family farming).
Speaking about the meeting, the mayor of Tartarugalzinho, Bruno Mineiro, reported that in addition to the ministers who were personally present, representatives from the Ministry of Health and Civil Defense attended.
“The meeting went quite well. We talk about the help that the federal government can give and make viable immediately in relation to the severe drought. In the negotiation, the municipalities had to list their needs to receive help from each ministry participating in the meeting”he said Miner, adding that the list is to be submitted by Wednesday.
