Mayor Furlan presents notebook of investment proposals for Macapá – News of Brazil

On an institutional trip to Brasília, the mayor of Macapá, Antônio Furtan, accompanied by a delegation of councilors, fulfilled an agenda with political leaders and ministers, this Tuesday, 21st. capital and articulate resources aimed at the city’s infrastructure and other sectors, with the aim of improving the population’s quality of life. The mayor also spoke with the Minister of Social Security, Carlos Lupi.
During the conversation, the mayor highlighted the Proaves – Bird Breeding Program. To which Minister Paulo Teixeira pledged to strengthen this public policy, in addition to guaranteeing investments in fish farming and other agricultural economic matrices to strengthen this axis in Macapá.
The trip was also marked by important audiences with Senator Lucas Barreto (PSD) and Federal Deputy Silvia Waiãpi (PL).
The delegation also had an audience with the minister of integration and regional development, Waldez Góes. On the agenda, issues related to the macro-drainage of the canals, acquisition of equipment and machinery for Civil Defense, works on the Macapá waterfront (south section) and more acquisition of vehicles and equipment for family farming.
At the Ministry of Defense, the meeting took place at 4 pm with the general director of the Calha Norte Program, General Poty, with whom he will discuss the guarantee of funds for the construction of the new Sérgio Arruda Bridge – a project already concluded and awaiting the release of funds for the beginning of the restructuring that will transform urban mobility between the Center and the North Zone of Macapá.
Then, at 5 pm, the subject was ‘Access to the Amazon Fund and BNDES for City Hall Projects’, aligned with Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), leader of the government in Congress. To finalize the schedule of commitments, the mayor has a meeting scheduled with federal deputy Vinícius Gurgel (PL-AP).
