The Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva, was discharged from the hospital this Wednesday (10), around 9:30 am. She was hospitalized at the Instituto do Coração of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (InCor), in the capital of São Paulo. The minister was admitted to the hospital on Saturday (6), after testing positive for covid-19, to undergo tests.

The hospital reported that, as the minister had a complete vaccination schedule, “this contributed to the health situation being controlled”. She must remain resting at home and will resume ministerial activities starting next week, according to medical advice.

The discharge was signed by cardiologist Sérgio Timerman, by infectologist Tânia Mara Varejão Strabelli and by the director of InCor’s Pulmonology Division, Carlos Roberto Ribeiro de Carvalho.
