Manchester City beats Wolverhampton in the Premier League with three goals from Haaland

With the brilliance of Erling Haaland, Manchester City beat Wolverhampton by 3-0, this Sunday (22), at home. With three goals from the Norwegian striker, the Sky Blues did not have too many difficulties to get the three points to keep the distance of points for the leader, Arsenal. The result made Guardiola’s team breathe a little easier after some performances that didn’t even convince the coach himself.

Haaland scored three goals in a short period of time, showing all his power. The first was at 40′ of the first half, in which he tested his height and strength after a De Bruyne cross.

The second goal came at the five-minute mark of the final period on a penalty kick, which he knocked low and into the corner, as the costume dictates, to score the Citizens’ second. It didn’t take long for the hat-trick to come out: at nine of the second half, he took advantage of the mess from the Portuguese defender José Sá (who scored the penalty before the second goal) and pushed for the goal.

Manchester City returns to the field in a duel against the leader, Arsenal, at home. The game will be next Friday (27), at 5 pm in Brasilia.
