Manauscult and CRE-AM enter into a partnership to guarantee the quality of carnival structures

Manaus (AM) – The City of Manaus, through the Municipal Foundation for Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), participated in a meeting, on Friday (2), with a delegation from the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of Amazonas (Crea-AM) , to discuss strategies for strengthening partnerships aimed at operating Carnival.

Manauscult guarantees support for the holding of 110 carnival events with stage structure, sound, lighting, railings, among others, with 50 bands having a small structure, another 50 medium-sized and 10 having a large structure.

The meeting was attended by the CEO of Manauscult, Reginei Rodrigues, and the president of the board, Alzira Miranda.

“Street Carnival generates large-scale popular mobilization throughout the city. Municipal management must guarantee the necessary safety and quality in the structures we provide for carnival events for all people who will be present”,

pointed out Rodrigues.

The president of Crea-AM highlighted, at the meeting, the commitment to inspection of engineering services during the Momesca festivities. “Our objective is to prevent and guarantee the integrity of the population. In this sense, our intention is to ensure that all services are supported by professionals in the field, ensuring that all activities are conducted with the highest safety standards”, concluded Miranda.

The partnership with Crea-AM is part of the Manaus City Council’s policy, which aims to protect the integrity, security and transparency of the services offered at events in the capital of Amazonas.
