Essência di Pátio” is the first of three labels that will be gradually launched by the network in the coming months

Manaus (AM) — Pátio Gourmet innovates once again, becoming the first supermarket chain in the North region to launch its own brand wine. “Essência di Pátio” is the first of three labels that will be gradually launched by the chain in the coming months. The new product will be presented to guests at an event this Thursday (14). On the same day it will be available in the three Pátio Gourmet stores – on Djalma Batista avenues, Chapada neighborhood, Via Láctea, Aleixo, and Terezina street, in Adrianópolis.

Led by experienced sommelier Alexsander de Oliveira, the Pátio Gourmet wine project was structured and matured over a year, with research, search for a partner winery and label development. “The proposal is to offer wine lovers a drink of extreme quality that will provide a special enogastronomic experience”, he highlights.

Alexsander, who is a professor at the Brazilian Sommelier Association (ABS) and president of the entity in Amazonas, worked on wine development projects during his time at chef Claude Troisgros’ restaurants. “We brought all the expertise from previous projects to the development of Pátio Gourmet’s labels and I’m sure it will surprise customers”, he highlights.

Pátio Gourmet, he says, always stands out for its pioneering spirit and could not be any different in relation to the brand’s own wines.

“We are taking a step towards innovation, bringing new experiences to the Amazonian consumer. This is the first in a series of three wines, with great market potential”,

emphasizes.

According to Alexsander de Oliveira, “Essência di Pátio” is a Cabernet Sauvignon wine, made from grapes from the Serra Gaucha, with an intense ruby color, matured in French oak barrels. It is a drink with the aroma of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, tobacco and spices. On the palate, it is a balanced, soft wine with good acidity. “I’m sure it’s a wine that will positively surprise consumers”, he highlights.

On the label, the wine pays homage to the Amazon region, with elements of the forest and the river. “This was the way we found to record and strengthen the essence of Pátio Gourmet, a company located in the heart of the forest”, he highlights.

Alexsander explains that “Essência de Pátio” pairs well with noble cuts of meat, such as chorizo, ancho and picanha. It is also an excellent drink to accompany aged meats, such as Dry Aged and cheeses such as canasta, parmesan and emmental.
