Manaus is a national highlight in employability with the most efficient Sine in the country

Manaus (AM) – Playing a crucial role in promoting the city’s economic development, the National Employment System (Sine) Manaus inserted 11,931 professionals into the job market, both in the capital of Amazonas and in other states in Brazil, in 1,000 days of Mayor David Almeida’s administration .

Elected the most efficient Sine in the country, by the National Employment System, of the Ministry of Economy, more than 16 thousand job vacancies have already been made available, in addition to services focused on the development of workers and employers.

In addition to employment opportunities and worker qualifications, the city hall, through the Municipal Department of Labor, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Semtepi), also encourages local entrepreneurs through support projects, such as “Entrepreneurial Aid”, “Permissionary Aid” and “Transportation assistance”; and programs such as “Kit Pneus”, “Empreende Manaus”, “Empreendimento Rural”, “English Manaus” and “Salto: Aceleradora de MEIs”, among others.

In the scope of inclusion, Sine Manaus has also been focusing on the category of People with Disabilities (PwDs), offering 3,768 vacancies, of which 2,959 referrals culminated in the hiring of 741 individuals in the job market. With the purpose of training the population and expanding services, Semtepi launched three projects: “Sine Qualifica”, “Sine nos Bairros” and “Semtepi Itinerante”.

A worker who also participated in the Cashier course and was later employed by Sine Manaus, André Marques was grateful for the valuable opportunity to qualify and enter the job market.

According to Mayor David Almeida, seeing Manaus with the most efficient Labor Department in Brazil is a reason for great joy, showing that the management is on the right path. “Since the beginning of management, we have had good employability numbers and we want to continue with this objective, focusing on the quality of our services and creating opportunities for those who need it most”he stated.

The secretary of Semtepi, Radyr Júnior, highlighted that the milestone of 1,000 days of management in this area was the improvement of services offered at Sine Manaus stations, resulting in the title of most efficient service in the country, being sought after by Brazilian multinationals.

“We acquired a van and are taking the same services offered at Sine’s fixed stations to the most distant neighborhoods of our city. And we will still deliver much more to the population, with the inauguration of the first large service Sine”,

Structures

Two new spaces are being built, which will house citizen services, with structures for large-scale services. The first is located in the North zone, on the premises of Shopping Phelippe Daou, and will have a selection room, psychological care and social assistance. In addition, it will also have a public coworking space and meeting spaces.

The Sine service station, currently located on Avenida Constantino Nery, in the São Geraldo neighborhood, Central-South zone, will undergo a significant relocation to the Distrito Industrial 1 neighborhood, specifically in the Studio 5 complex. is in its initial planning stages, with completion and opening estimated for 2024.

Qualification for the worker

Focused on professional development, practical workshops, specialized courses, informative lectures and interactive workshops were carried out on the following topics: Basic Operational Training (TBO); Regulatory Standard – 12 (NR12); Component Reading; Basic Metrology; among others, which are essential for entering the job market.

Worker André Marques also added that the opportunities offered by the city hall are vast, promoting interaction with new people, acquisition of specific knowledge and employment opportunities. “The process of searching for knowledge is the right path to overcome the obstacles imposed by the job market. I just have to thank Sine Manaus”concluded.

In total, 106 qualification actions were offered, distributed across 7,269 vacancies. These opportunities were designed to equip workers with the necessary skills and knowledge, thus improving their skills and preparing them effectively for their insertion in the dynamic job market.

Labor intermediation

Sine Manaus has established itself as a support space for companies, offering vacancies and selection processes free of charge. In a less bureaucratic format, it was possible to reach more business. In 1,000 days, more than 2 thousand companies used intermediation services, recruiting professionals.

The Amazonian company Primazia, which operates in the condominium management sector, used the services and highlighted the quality and agility.

“Sine has played a vital role in our selection processes, providing us with qualified professionals. These candidates have left a positive impression on our clients, exceeding their expectations exceptionally. The positions we most frequently fill are concierge agents, general services and craftsmen. In the last quarter alone, we hired 40 new employees,”
