Manaus (AM) – Manaus Futebol Clube held, this Thursday (18), the official presentation of its squad for the 2024 season. The event took place at the Da Vinci Hotel and was marked by the announcement of the new sports supplier, SJ Sports, a genuinely amazonense that now enters the history of Gavião Real. At the event, the club also officially announced the arrival of reinforcement Jean Torres, coming from Cianorte-PR.
The new emerald uniform stands out for its innovative design, inspired by the Largo de São Sebastião promenade, a historical and tourist spot in the capital of Manaus, reflecting the cultural identity that Manaus has adopted in its uniforms over the last few years.
Gavião Real’s most recent signing, Jean Torres is from Venezuela and has already made his mark in international football. Having played for Caracas-VEN, Jean participated in prestigious tournaments such as the Libertadores da América.
Esmeraldino continues to prepare for its first match in the 2024 Amazonense Championship, which takes place this Sunday (21), at 3:30 pm, at the Ismael Benigno stadium (Colina), against Rio Negro. The updated list of Manaus athletes for the season is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Vinícius Fávero, Holliwer and Waldson;
Defenders: Léo Gaúcho, Gutierrez and Gomes;
Full-backs: Dieyson, André Victor, Alan Patrick and Wendel Nery;
Midfielders: Gharib, Felipe Eduardo, Thiaguinho, Adenílson, Emerson Junior, Luiz Fernando, Edson Magal and Jean Torres;
Forwards: Levy, Denis Macedo, Lúcio Maranhão, Rafael Ibiapino, Miliano, Roney and Renan Muniz.
